Your themes may be based on the choices we've used in the game, but always feel free to modify or combine topics as you wish, so that you are working with a subject you will enjoy learning about :)

 

 

Next, explore your theme!

 

After selecting a theme, your ultimate goal is to create an artwork or image that conveys this theme by using context clues and your own ideas. The image you create may be digital or physical.  You may draw, paint, collage, etc. in order to create and successfully convey your idea.  The choice is yours!

 

During this time, feel free to discuss your ideas with one another

 

 

While exploring your topic, we encourage you to:

• Find (at least) 1-2 contemporary artists who portray your theme in their artwork, and find some examples!

• Find a current event in contemporary culture that pertains to your theme

• Explore definitions/synonyms/ideas related to your theme

• songs/poems/quotes related to theme

 

 

While you are discovering more about your topic, be sure to write summaries/blurbs of what you have learned, and brainstorming ideas of what you want to create!
