I am an artist and art educator from a small town located in South Western Pennsylvania. Uniontown is one of those towns that I can not help but hold near and dear to my heart. The natural beauty and rich history in and around this area has influenced my art and pedogocical philosophy: to find the beauty in small things - whether that be through a pop of color or noticing your student slowly opening up or progressing during each lesson. 

 

I graduated from Penn State in December of 2016 with my degree in K-12 Art Education and a minor in Psychology. My next academic journey has just begun! I am beginning to work for my Masters in Art Ed at Ohio State.

I currently teach K-5 art at two elementary schools in Laurel Highlands School District.
